Terms of Service

ChatDock lets you build AI assistants that answer website visitors from content you approve, capture leads, and manage those assistants from one account. Assistants answer only from the content you give them, but they are AI: outputs can be imperfect, and you are responsible for reviewing an assistant before putting it in front of visitors.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the content you add. Only add websites and documents you have the right to use — for an agency, that means your client has approved using their content. You keep ownership of everything you add; we take only the licence needed to run the service (store it, index it, and use it to generate answers for that assistant).

Do not use ChatDock for anything unlawful, to deceive end users into believing they are talking to a human when asked directly, to collect data you have no right to collect, or to provide regulated advice (medical, legal, financial) without the required qualifications and disclosures.

Paid plans bill monthly or yearly in advance through our payment provider and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan runs to the end of the paid period. Plan limits (websites, messages, storage) are enforced in the product and described on the pricing page. If something goes wrong with a charge, contact us and we will sort it out — the founder answers support himself.

We work to keep ChatDock fast and available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or discontinue features; if a change materially reduces what you pay for, you can cancel and we will refund the unused portion of a prepaid period.

The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect damages — lost profits, lost clients, lost data — or for decisions made in reliance on an assistant's output.

You can delete your account at any time, which removes your assistants and their data. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, with notice where practical. These terms may change; material changes will be noted here with a new date, and continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
